MEET THE FOUNDER and Head Coach

Hey, I'm Clara!

I know what it's like to be stuck, exhausted and unmotivated (all at once). I've delt with the extreme diets, 15-minute ab workouts, sleepless nights (plus 4 coffees), and the scale that seems to only go up.

That's why I created Coached by Clara. A company that works for you and the realistic life that you already have.

About CBC

My name is Clara Jane Tocci, and I am a wife, mom, and personal trainer. I founded Coached by Clara in 2025 to help women who think that they "don't have time" fit realistic fitness and nutrition strategies into their busy lives.

CBC is a health and wellness brand for women who want to build dignity, strength, courage, and consistency without intimidating rules. With a background in fitness, homeopathy, and motherhood, I took science-based training and nutrition and found ways to make it flexible — so women can build healthy habits that actually stick.

My Story

Wife, Mom, Personal Trainer, Business Owner

My name is Clara Jane Tocci. I’m a wife, mom, and personal trainer and business owner.

I have an amazing husband (who happens to be in the military), and a beautiful daughter born in February 2025. I was first introduced to exercise during high school sports — and while I didn’t love it then, I had no idea it would eventually become such a huge part of my life.

2020

I got my first gym membership.

Mistake #1: I had no plan — and no idea what I was doing. Then, like the rest of the world, my gym closed down because of COVID. So, I did what everyone else did: 15-minute ab workouts and endless bodyweight squats.

2021

I left public school for homeschool, worked full time, and went to the gym as much as possible.

Here comes mistake #2: I got so obsessed with lifting weights; I started leaving the gym after one exercise just because I felt like I failed.

2022 - Current

I started doing real research on exercise and nutrition and decided I was going to pursue this for real (the right way). After graduating, I enrolled in an online university to study Kinesiology — the science of exercise.

In just my first two years of college, I became certified as a personal trainer, nutrition specialist, strength and conditioning coach, corrective exercise specialist, group fitness instructor, senior fitness specialist, transformation coach, and bodybuilding specialist. I also got married, moved from New Jersey to Georgia, and started training at a new gym.

Just when I felt like I’d finally perfected my routine — nutrition, workouts, sleep, everything — I had a baby.

Everything changed. My habits shifted. My sleep disappeared. And I started feeling guilty for wanting to go to the gym.

I found new ways to keep going through all the chaos — working out at home, healing my body, prepping nutritious food, slowing down. I wanted to teach other women how to do the same. I created CBC for women like me — women who are ready to feel strong again, even when life is crazy. Whether you're starting from scratch, stuck in a cycle of burnout, or just need someone to hold you accountable, I'm here to help you build a routine that works with your life, not against it.

Why Do We Prioritize Dignity

Dignity is the quiet foundation of lasting change. It’s the inner knowing that you are worth the effort—even on the days you feel like you're failing. In our coaching, we define dignity as holding your value as non-negotiable, regardless of your current circumstances, weight, emotions, or how messy life feels.

For too long, women have been taught to attach their worth to outcomes—what they weigh, how much they do, how they look. But dignity isn’t earned by productivity or perfection. It’s rooted in the belief that you were made with intention, with purpose, and with inherent value that can’t be taken away.

This isn’t about empty self-love mantras or false empowerment. This is about reclaiming what’s already yours: the right to show up for yourself with honor, to make decisions from love instead of shame, and to live in alignment with the truth that you matter.

In Scripture, we’re told that we are "clothed with strength and dignity"—not as a future goal, but as a present reality (Proverbs 31:25). That’s the kind of dignity we help women rediscover. It’s what steadies you when motivation fades and what allows you to rise again after a hard week, a missed workout, or a setback.

We prioritize dignity because without it, discipline becomes punishment and goals become burdens. But with dignity, your health journey becomes an act of stewardship, not striving. And that changes everything.

If you're here, at the bottom of this page, it means something resonated with you. Something clicked.

That 'something', is the beginning of your incredible journey.

I understand this is a big step.

But think about this: all great stories have that insane moment where the heroine takes a deep breath and leaps.

Ready to take yours?

Apply now for coaching if you feel that whisper in your heart that says,

"It's my time."

Together, we'll turn that whisper into a roar.
